About Peter Bath

Peter is Vice President of Mission for Florida Hospital Tampa Bay Division, He posesses a strong background that covers a wide range of experiences.

Previously, Dr. Bath served as VP of Spiritual Wellness and Human Development at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Kansas. Prior to that, He was the Senior Pastor of the 3,000-member Sligo Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Washington, D.C. area.

He has also served as President of Kettering College of Medical Arts in Kettering, Ohio. Peter earned his Doctor of Ministry at Lancaster Theological Seminary, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and his Master of Divinity at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. He earned an MBA and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario.


Dr. Bath has been active in various communities through his involvement with the National Conference on Community and Justice, Action in Montgomery, Juvenile Justice Commission, and Rotary International. His interests include sailing, skiing, scuba diving, music, canoeing, camping and bee keeping.

Dr. Bath has been married to his wife Catherine, who is a Physical Therapist, for more than 30 years. They have three daughters and one son-in-law all of whom live in the Washington, D.C. area, and two Golden Retriever puppies at home!
